Cutting and Preparation of Light and Heavy Scrap, Scarfing, and Slab Skinning in the Steelmaking and Continuous Casting Areas of Mobarakeh Steel Company

Cutting and preparation of 70,000 tons of scrap per year in the Steelmaking Area and 18,000 tons of light scrap from various areas of Mobarakeh Steel Company; recovery of oxide scale from slab surfaces, various types of fine scrap iron, and 12,000 pairs of sliding plates; descaling of approximately 2,100,000 tons of slabs per year; manual surface dressing of approximately 1,350,000 tons per year; edge trimming of both ends of approximately 40,000 slabs per year; and transverse cutting of 400,000 tons of slabs per year.
